How I Got Into
The World of Cannabis as Medicine
It All Started When...
Early on in my life, I began looking for alternate forms of
medicine – as the pharmaceuticals I had been taking proved ineffective when it
came to my need for pain relief. In my search of other forms of medicine, I
discovered cannabis – which wasn’t only successful in alleviating the pain, but
also never produced side-effects.

Bridging Research And Real Life
By the mid 2000’s, I’d been growing cannabis for a while. I
was passionate about researching the different growing and harvesting
techniques of the plant as well as its medical benefits. When Colorado
legalized cannabis for medical use, I swiftly obtained my cannabis medical
card.
Not long after, a good friend of mine was diagnosed with
brain cancer – for the second time. Unfortunately, this time, it was
inoperable.
Cannabis vs Cancer
Having just read about Rick Simpson, a Canadian who was
manufacturing cannabis oil, I spoke to my friend and asked if he would be
interested in trying out cannabis to combat his cancer. Rick’s cannabis oil was
garnering incredible results in helping to ease and even eradicate their
ailments altogether.
My friend decided to give it a go, and to say the results
were amazing would be an understatement.
Because of this, I started making cannabis medicine for
anyone I knew who needed it – in the hopes that, like my friend, they could
heal.

Change Is Good, Making A
Difference Is Better
Fast forward to just after 2010: My brother and I closed our
plumbing and heating company. The business no longer felt rewarding for either
of us, and I believe this had a lot to do with its lack of being able to serve
the greater good.
That’s when I started to do what I love – farming and
growing quality, organic heirloom food. Our produce mainly featured herbs,
tomatoes, and strawberries. Unfortunately, we experienced a micro-burst at the
farm 4 years ago which destroyed the greenhouse and killed the tomato crop.

Instead of giving up, I saw this as an opportunity for
change and to express my farming interests elsewhere. Seeing as I’d long wanted
to grow cannabis as medicine for others, I jumped into the CBD hemp industry.
With the knowledge I’d gained through farming, combined with my desire to help
more people than I previously could, everything just seemed to fall in to place
– and I was thrilled about this new direction and the difference I could make.
What Are Friends For?
It was then that a friend of mine, who was interested in
what I was trying to accomplish, offered a partnership between the two of us
along with his brother and mother. Within their own lives, they had experienced
the undeniable benefits of cannabis – and they wanted to leverage the potential
of CBD hemp.
Today, Our Mission Is To Help People.
We want to create and distribute the most powerful, natural
medicine on the planet; preserving all of the natural cannabinoids to produce
refined natural medicine.
